At alsico, we are deeply committed to a better planet
In the vibrant landscapes of Madagascar, alsico has established a dedicated tree nursery as part of its commitment to offset emissions. Since 2018, alsico has forged a meaningful partnership with the Belgian NGO Graine de Vie, collectively striving to make a positive environmental impact through tree-planting initiatives.
More than 253,000 trees have already been planted. In 2023, alsico will have planted 67,000 trees to offset the entire clothing manufacturing process (excluding raw materials) and 100% of the manufacturing of clothing from the ACO collection.
Graine de Vie is an NGO specializing in reforestation integrated into local life and began its adventure in 2009 with the creation of its first nursery and the planting of nearly 100,000 trees in Madagascar.
Today, they have planted more than 50,000,000 trees in 7 African countries.
